What recreational facilities are in Gardena?

The Nakaoka Community Center is located at 1670 West 162nd Street in Gardena. They offer a variety of classes for toddlers, youth, and adults throughout the year, such as: dance, gymnastics, arts and crafts, music, bonsai, martial arts, educational classes, Japanese water color, ikebana, doll making, karaoke, calligraphy, aerobics and more.

The City operates two gymnasiums: Rush Gymnasium, which is located at 1651 West 162nd Street and Rowley Park, which is located at 13220 South Van Ness Avenue. Both gymnasiums offer court sports such as basketball, volleyball, and other sports.
