The Gardena Municipal Bus Lines is pleased to offer transportation service for senior citizens and physically disabled residents of Gardena. Curb-to-curb demand responsive service is provided so citizens can travel to any destination within our service area and to major activity centers in adjacent jurisdictions.
For registration information, please call the Gardena Senior Citizens Bureau at (310) 965-8888. To request service, please call Gardena Special Transit dispatch at (310) 965-8848. When calling Gardena Special Transit, be prepared to provide the following information: your name, the date and time you wish to depart, which should be 24 hours in advance, your pick up location, your destination address, and the time you wish to return. Please indicate any special situation or need such as a wheelchair, escort, or service dog when you speak with a dispatcher.
