Between April 1 and mid-December the Public Works Department performs street sweeping throughout the Village to keep streets clean as well as to prevent dirt and debris from entering the Village’s combined sewer system. In 2012, permanent signs were installed on each block notifying residents when street sweeping will occur in the area. Signs were installed on each block on each side of the street. Street sweeping is a two day process. Motorists should not park on the side of the street where street sweeping will occur that day. Residents will have street sweeping performed every month on the same day of the week.
