Does the City of Evanston have a dog park or a dog beach?

Evanston has both a dog park and a dog beach.

Evanston residents can take their dogs to the Pooch Park at 3220 Oakton Street in Skokie. Pooch Park is jointly operated by the City of Evanston and the Skokie Park District. It is a 2.7 acre park that is an off-leash, fenced dog recreational facility, and access is restricted to owners or handlers who have a Pooch Park pass. Pooch Park is open every day of the year from 5 am to 10 pm. The park is closed for maintenance on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1 pm to 3:30 pm.

Evanston also has a public Dog Beach. Every dog must have a season dog beach token to enter. The Dog Beach is open April through November. Please refer to the City's website for more details. https://www.cityofevanston.org/government/departments/parks-recreation-community-services/parks/pooch-park
